Job description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Credit Assessment
• Review Australian finance applications for completeness and suitability.
• Analyse Australian bank statements to identify:
• Income consistency
• Living expenses
• Gambling activity
• Dishonours and arrears
• Existing loan commitments
• Cash flow issues
• Undisclosed liabilities
• Other lending risks
• Assess Australian payslips and employment information.
• Review personal and business tax returns.
• Interpret Equifax and other Australian credit reports.
• Identify potential credit concerns before submission to lenders.
• Escalate complex lending scenarios where required.
• Client Communication
• Speak directly with Australian clients by phone.
• Explain outstanding requirements clearly and professionally.
• Obtain supporting documentation.
• Build rapport and maintain a high level of customer service.
• Follow up applications efficiently to minimise turnaround times.
• Deal Management
• Prepare finance applications for submission.
• Assist with lender selection based on policy.
• Structure applications to maximise approval outcomes.
• Liaise with onshore management team for escalation where required
• Maintain accurate CRM notes and application records.

• Communicates confidently with Australian clients.

Essential Experience (Non-Negotiable)

• Applicants must have previous experience working with Australian finance applications, including one or more of the following:
• Australian Personal Loans
• Australian Asset Finance
• Australian Consumer Lending
• Australian Finance Brokerage
• Australian Non-Bank Lender
• Australian Bank Lending

Applications without Australian lending experience will not be considered.
