As a Customer Care Consultant, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers and business partners, providing exceptional service and support across CGU products, policies, and services. You’ll handle enquiries with care and efficiency, ensuring every interaction meets our high standards for quality and customer satisfaction.

Your IAG journey will commence as of 2nd November 2026 in this permanent, full-time role with a comprehensive, 6-week training in one of our IAG offices which includes three days training on site and two days from home. Successful candidates will work from our call centres located in Naarm (Melbourne), Tarndanya (Adelaide) or Boorloo (Perth).

This role is predominantly home-based, offering the flexibility to work remotely four days a week outside the 6-week training period.

This role operates on a rotational roster between 8:00am and 8:00pm AEST, Monday to Friday. Rosters are provided four weeks in advance to help you plan ahead with confidence.

What You'll Do

• Handling on phone, inbound customer enquiries across Motor, Home, Landlord and Niche insurance products and services.
• Managing policy-related transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Identifying customer needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Supporting sales and retention opportunities where appropriate.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and business partners.
• Delivering exceptional customer experiences in every interaction.
  
  

What You'll Bring

• Experience in a customer-facing role; insurance industry experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a confident and personable approach.
• Self-motivated team player who thrives in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
• Ability to multitask and manage call volumes
• Tech-savvy and proven ability to confidently use multiple systems and platforms simultaneously
