This is a business-focused architecture role responsible for shaping how customer data is governed, managed, and leveraged across the enterprise. Success requires balancing business process needs, governance requirements, reporting objectives, and SAP transformation goals. Strategic Impact: Play a key role in defining enterprise data governance and analytics strategy for a large-scale SAP transformation Visibility & Collaboration: Partner with business stakeholders, data leaders, analytics teams, and SAP functional experts across the organization Growth Opportunity: Expand enterprise data governance standards across multiple customer domains and business functions Modern Data Ecosystem: Work with SAP S/4HANA, analytics platforms, reporting frameworks, and data governance practices Business-Focused Architecture: Help bridge the gap between customer data governance, business processes, reporting needs, and business value realization Collaborative Culture: Join a team that values innovation, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making Your Role & Responsibilities Define and establish enterprise customer data governance standards, ownership models, stewardship processes, and data quality practices across SAP Customer Core domains Support SAP transformation initiatives by aligning reporting, analytics, and data management practices with SAP blueprinting efforts Establish and expand enterprise data governance standards across customer and business domains Develop customer data ownership, stewardship, accountability, and governance operating procedures Partner with business stakeholders to ensure data quality, consistency, accessibility, and compliance requirements are met Translate complex business needs into scalable data governance, architecture, and reporting solutions Collaborate with SAP functional teams, analytics teams, reporting teams, and operational stakeholders to improve insight generation and business decision-making capabilities Assess current-state data environments and recommend improvements to optimize governance, reporting, and information management practices Support enterprise data strategy initiatives focused on analytics alignment, value realization, and long-term scalability Document customer data standards, governance controls, business rules, ownership responsibilities, and decision-making processes Skills & Experience You Should Possess 4–6 years of experience in enterprise data governance, master data management, customer data management, data strategy, or data architecture roles supporting large-scale transformation initiatives Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA Utilities, SAP IS-U, or a comparable large-scale ERP transformation Experience partnering with SAP functional teams during blueprinting, design, or implementation Understanding of customer data impacts across SAP business processes, reporting, and analytics Experience governing customer master data, customer domains, customer hierarchies, or customer information management processes Experience supporting enterprise reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality, data stewardship, and master data management principles Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive alignment without direct authority Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, and documentation skills Bonus Points If You Have SAP Datasphere experience SAP Analytics Cloud experience Experience supporting SAP implementation or migration initiatives Background in enterprise customer data management programs Experience driving data governance adoption across multiple business units Knowledge of value realization frameworks and business performance measurement practices Education & Certifications You Need Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Management, Business Analytics, or a related discipline SAP S/4HANA Utilities or SAP IS-U functional foundation is highly desired SAP Datasphere Certification preferred SAP Analytics Cloud Certification preferred CDMP certification preferred What We Offer At Trissential, we value expertise, innovation, and collaboration. Competitive Compensation – $80–$90 per hour . Final compensation is determined based on skill alignment, years of experience, and fair, market-based rates by geography.
