As a Customer Service Representative at Hiredbuddy, you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers, ensuring their questions are answered and issues are resolved with empathy and efficiency. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to help others. In this fully remote role, you will use a variety of digital tools to manage customer interactions, track cases, and collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional service.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat in a timely and professional manner
• Identifying customer needs, clarifying information, and providing accurate solutions or alternatives
• Troubleshooting common product or service issues and guiding customers through step-by-step resolutions
• Documenting all interactions and resolutions in our CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk, or similar)
• Escalating complex cases to the appropriate internal teams while keeping the customer informed throughout the process
• Following up with customers to ensure their issues are fully resolved and they are satisfied with the outcome
• Maintaining a high level of product knowledge to provide accurate and up-to-date information
• Meeting or exceeding key performance metrics, including customer satisfaction scores, response time, and resolution rate
• Participating in team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve service quality
• Providing feedback to management on recurring customer issues or opportunities for process improvement

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (associate's or bachelor's degree a plus)
• 0-2 years of experience in customer service, retail, or a related field (internships count)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strong active listening and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to handle stressful situations with patience and professionalism
• Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with email, web browsing, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
