About this Position As a Cyber Defense Analyst, you will play a critical role in protecting Henkel’s digital environment by helping safeguard our systems, data, and operations against evolving cyber threats. Working within our Security Operations Center (SOC), you will contribute to maintaining a strong security posture by supporting the organization's ability to identify, assess, and respond to security risks in a rapidly changing technology landscape. In this role, you will join a global team of cybersecurity professionals dedicated to enabling secure business operations and driving continuous improvement in cyber defense capabilities. What you´ll do Monitor, detect, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity threats and security incidents as part of Henkel’s Security Operations Center (SOC) Proactively manage security events and activities to minimize the impact of potential system compromises and cyber risks Serve as a subject matter expert in cyber defense operations, contributing to continuous improvements in threat detection, incident response, and security monitoring Identify emerging cybersecurity threats, industry trends, and opportunities to strengthen the organization’s security posture Assess and recommend new security technologies and solutions, including cloud security capabilities, security automation, and advanced threat detection tools Collaborate with stakeholders to align cybersecurity initiatives and Information Security objectives with business needs Support the enhancement of Henkel’s cyber defense strategy by driving innovation and operational excellence in security operations What makes you a good fit Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) Minimum of three (3) years of experience in SOC or Cyber Defense roles; Strong background in incident response and threat analysis Proficiency with SIEM platforms, EDR tools, and network security monitoring Knowledge of malware analysis, threat intelligence, and attack frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK Strong analytical thinking and communication skills.
