Role Description The CyberArk PAM Mentor role at Patch the Skill is a part-time remote position focused on mentoring learners in Privileged Access Management using CyberArk technologies. Day-to-day tasks include designing and delivering virtual training sessions, explaining CyberArk architecture and core components, and demonstrating best practices for securing privileged accounts. The mentor will guide learners through labs and real-world scenarios, review assignments, provide constructive feedback, and clarify complex technical concepts in accessible language. Responsibilities also include collaborating on curriculum enhancements, sharing industry insights, and helping learners prepare for certifications or workplace projects involving CyberArk PAM. Qualifications
Strong hands-on expertise in CyberArk PAM, including installation, configuration, policy management, and troubleshooting privileged access workflows.
Solid understanding of information security fundamentals, identity and access management (IAM), and enterprise security architectures.
Ability to design and deliver clear, structured technical training sessions, with experience mentoring, coaching, or teaching adult learners.
Skilled in creating concise training materials, lab exercises, and documentation that support practical, scenario-based learning.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex technical topics to varied skill levels in a gender-neutral, inclusive manner.
Comfortable working remotely, managing schedules independently, and using online collaboration and learning platforms.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CyberArk, security, IAM) and experience in enterprise environments or consulting are highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
