Cybersecurity Cloud Architect (AWS)

Currently, we are looking for a Confirmed Cybersecurity Architect to design, secure, and support Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environments within a complex, large-scale infrastructure. In this role, you will serve as a trusted security architecture expert, ensuring AWS-based platforms are secure by design, resilient, compliant, and suitable for highly regulated environments.

Working at the intersection of cloud architecture, cybersecurity, and DevSecOps, you will collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and security teams in an international environment.

Project information:

• Location: 100% remote
• Type of employment: B2B contract
• Remuneration: 190 - 210 PLN net + VAT per hour on B2B

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain secure cloud architectures on AWS.
• Define and implement cloud security controls aligned with industry best practices, standards, and compliance requirements.
• Translate business, security, and compliance requirements into secure technical solutions.
• Support DevSecOps initiatives, including CI/CD security controls and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
• Contribute to Identity and Access Management (IAM) architecture and access control strategies.
• Perform security architecture reviews, risk assessments, and threat modelling.
• Support incident analysis, remediation activities, and continuous security improvements.
• Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams across an international environment.
• Produce and maintain architectural documentation, security designs, and technical guidelines..

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in cybersecurity.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Security Architect or in a similar role.
• Strong expertise in AWS cloud security and secure cloud architecture.
• Solid understanding of network security, identity and access management, encryption, logging, and monitoring.
• Experience implementing cloud security controls aligned with industry standards and compliance requirements.
• Hands-on experience supporting DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD security and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Ability to translate business and security requirements into secure technical architectures.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural and international environment.

Nice to have:

• Industry certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CISSP, CISM, or CCSP.
• Experience with security architecture reviews, risk assessments, and threat modelling.
• Knowledge of regulated or high-security cloud environments.
• Familiarity with modern DevSecOps practices and cloud security best practices.
