About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join Education Tomorrow Inc., supporting California University Preparatory Academy (CUPA) in its mission to deliver exceptional educational programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large volumes of institutional data related to student performance, enrollment trends, and program engagement. This role is pivotal in enabling CUPA to make data-informed decisions that enhance operational efficiency and academic outcomes. The Data Analyst will collaborate closely with academic and administrative teams to develop insightful reports, dashboards, and predictive models that support strategic initiatives. Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Education, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred. Proven experience in data analysis, visualization, and reporting within an educational or similar environment is essential. Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms is required. Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), student information systems (SIS), and other educational data sources is highly desirable. Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex data sets are critical. The candidate should also demonstrate strong communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders. A proactive approach, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
The Data Analyst will be responsible for designing and implementing data collection systems to ensure accuracy and completeness of institutional data. They will analyze academic performance metrics, enrollment data, and engagement statistics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports to provide real-time insights to academic and administrative teams will be a core part of the role. The analyst will also collaborate with IT and academic staff to optimize data workflows and ensure data integrity. Additionally, the role involves supporting institutional research projects, conducting predictive analytics, and contributing to strategic planning initiatives. Regularly communicating findings through presentations and reports to various stakeholders is essential. The Data Analyst will also stay updated on emerging data analysis techniques and educational technology trends to continuously enhance analytical capabilities.
