Data Analyst

Description Location: London, ON | Hybrid/Remote | StarTech.com StarTech.com is continuing to grow our Data Analytics team and we are looking for a Data Analyst who is passionate about turning data into actionable insights. In this role, you will partner closely with cross functional teams to analyze data across key areas of the business, including product performance, inventory, revenue, customer insights, and marketing. Your work will help shape business decisions, optimize performance, and support continued growth. You will be responsible for transforming data from multiple sources into clear, meaningful insights, building models, and delivering reporting that informs strategy. Success in this role comes from strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate insights in a way that drives action. Posting this opportunity to support a backfill requirement on the team What You’ll Do Analyze key business metrics to evaluate and improve strategic initiatives Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations Build data models and generate summary statistics using analytics tools Develop reports and dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Power BI) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business needs Communicate insights clearly to stakeholders at all levels Leverage AI and automation tools to improve efficiency Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and process optimization What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Technology, or related field (Master’s in Analytics is an asset) 2+ years of experience in a Data Analyst or Business Analyst role working with large datasets Strong experience with Power BI and Power Query Advanced Excel skills Intermediate proficiency in Python or R Experience or interest in AI tools and applications What Sets You Apart Strong data cleaning, transformation, and analysis skills Ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights Experience building queries, reports, and visualizations High attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and collaboration skills A proactive learner who is curious, adaptable, and driven to improve processes Why Join StarTech.com?
