Data Analyst

We are recruiting for a Data Analyst to join a global data and analytics team supporting marketing effectiveness and media performance projects.

This role is ideal for an analytically minded professional who enjoys solving complex data challenges, building econometric models and turning data into meaningful insights. The successful candidate will work remotely from South Africa while collaborating closely with UK-based teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Run and interpret statistical and econometric models, with a strong focus on time-series analysis
• Build and customise marketing effectiveness and Media Mix Models (MMM)
• Support the wider analytics team with complex modelling and technical projects
• Investigate and resolve advanced data, modelling and systems issues
• Extract, clean, structure and manipulate large datasets
• Review analytical outputs and provide guidance on econometric methodologies
• Identify opportunities to automate analytical processes and improve efficiencies
• Contribute to cross-channel advertising and marketing performance analysis
• Ensure data privacy and security standards are maintained at all times

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Data Science, Economics, or a related field (Master's preferred)
• 3+ years' experience in a data analyst, research, or analytics role
• Strong experience with regression analysis, econometric modelling and Marketing Mix Modelling
• Proficiency in SQL and either R or Python
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Strong written communication and problem-solving abilities
• Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders and teams
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
• Based in South Africa with working hours that substantially overlap with the UK business day
