Is this job info correct?

Who are we? Howden is a global insurance group with employee ownership at its heart. Together, we have pushed the boundaries of insurance. We are united by a shared passion and no-limits mindset, and our strength lies in our ability to collaborate as a powerful international team comprised of 24,000 employees spanning over 56 countries. People join Howden for many different reasons, but they stay for the same one: our culture. It’s what sets us apart, and the reason our employees have been turning down headhunters for years. Whatever your priorities – work / life balance, career progression, sustainability, volunteering – you’ll find like-minded people driving change at Howden. About the Role This is a great opportunity for a data analyst to join the Howden UK&I data team to assist with a large-scale policy admin system migration project on an 18-month fixed term contract. The role will support the project by helping the business prepare for the migration by providing an understanding of the data and processes needed to successfully migrate our client base across to the new system, as well as monitoring any changes in our key business KPIs before and after migration to assess the impact to the business and flag any potential issues. We are a remote team; however, we do like to meet up from time to time to collaborate in person. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the migration delivers the expected business outcomes by providing data-driven insight, monitoring customer and business impacts, proactively identifying risks, and supporting stakeholders in making informed decisions throughout the migration lifecycle Key Responsibilities Manipulate, analyse, and interpret large datasets to uncover insights and support commercial and operational decision‑making relating to the project Communicate insights clearly to colleagues across the organisation, turning complex findings into actionable recommendations. Proactively identify, investigate and escalate data quality issues, migration risks and performance impacts that could affect customers, trading performance, operational processes or regulatory outcomes. Work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, technology partners and external vendors to understand migration requirements and support successful delivery. Support migration testing activities by validating data integrity, completeness and accuracy across legacy and target systems. Produce clear and actionable analysis that enables stakeholders to understand migration impacts, make informed decisions and prioritise remediation activities where required. Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of reporting, dashboards and analytical processes used throughout the migration programme. Skills & Knowledge Essential: SQL Databricks Experience working with personal lines insurance products Experience working on insurance datasets and policy admin systems Experience investigating and resolving data anomalies and defects Clear communicator with technical and non-technical audiences Self-starter with proven ability to jump into complex projects and perform effectively Desirable: Python Experience with data from Acturis and/or Applied Epic Experience working in the insurance broking space Experience supporting system migrations, transformation programmes or large-scale change initiatives. What do we offer in return? A career that you define. At Howden, we value diversity – there is no one Howden type. Instead, we’re looking for individuals who share the same values as us: Our successes have all come from someone brave enough to try something new We support each other in the small everyday moments and the bigger challenges We are determined to make a positive difference at work and beyond Reasonable adjustments We're committed to providing reasonable accommodations at Howden to ensure that our positions align well with your needs. Besides the usual adjustments such as software, IT, and office setups, we can also accommodate other changes such as flexible hours* or hybrid working*. If you're excited by this role but have some doubts about whether it’s the right fit for you, send us your application – if your profile fits the role’s criteria, we will be in touch to assist in helping to get you set up with any reasonable adjustments you may require. *Not all positions can accommodate changes to working hours or locations. Reach out to your Recruitment Partner if you want to know more. Fixed Term Contract (Fixed Term)
