Role Overview: Could you be our next Data Analyst I ? American Income Life is looking for a Data Analyst I to join the team! This role is responsible for supporting the Enterprise Reporting Administration Portfolio through a comprehensive range of activities including data analysis, planning, development, deployment, and ongoing support of new and existing projects that impact multiple business units and processes. This is a hybrid position located in McKinney, TX. (WFH Monday & Friday, In Office Tuesday–Thursday). What You Will Do: Complete and distribute routine reporting that tracks and measures initiative performance. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports and findings for management review. Identify opportunities to utilize data analytics tools (Tableau, SQL, MS Excel, and other data mining tools) to monitor, extract, and evaluate data for streamlining existing storage and reporting processes. Track and analyze business unit trends and provide recommendations to positively impact departmental operations and maximize existing initiatives. Assist in quality assurance and testing when implementing new processes, procedures, and systems. Create and modify technical documentation including Business Requirement Documents and test cases for department projects. What You Can Bring: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business, Finance, Accounting, or Audit. 4+ years of experience in an Analyst role. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Tableau for data visualization. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to analyze large datasets and translate findings into clear insights and presentations. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapt to changing requirements, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. Effective communicator with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. SQL experience preferred.
