About The Role
The Data Analytics Analyst II within IQVIA’s Patient Access & Support Services (PASS) group plays a vital role in transforming healthcare data into actionable insights. This remote position is ideal for candidates residing in the United States who possess a strong analytical background and a keen interest in the healthcare industry. As a key member of the analytics team, you will work closely with clients and internal teams to analyze secondary data related to markets, physicians, patients, and pharmacies. Your responsibilities will include developing reports, dashboards, and forecasts using tools such as PowerBI, SQL, and Excel. You will contribute to client engagement strategies by providing data-driven recommendations, presenting insights, and supporting decision-making processes. This role offers opportunities for professional development, increased ownership of projects, and collaboration across diverse teams, all while working in a flexible, remote environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with PowerPoint and Excel
- Proficiency in SQL and PowerBI is a plus
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, in business English
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within teams
- Good project management, time management, and organizational skills
- Interest in healthcare industry trends and client engagement methodologies
- Willingness or ability to travel as needed
- Educational background in related fields such as data science, statistics, healthcare, or business is preferred
Responsibilities
- Leverage Excel and SQL skills to identify trends, generate insights, and provide actionable recommendations to clients
- Contribute to internal brainstorming sessions and collaborate with account management teams during client projects
- Evaluate secondary data sources concerning markets, physicians, patients, and pharmacies to inform strategic decisions
- Develop and utilize reporting tools such as PowerBI to derive insights, forecasts, and visualizations
- Coordinate with clients directly and through the PASS account team to manage analytics requests, both scheduled and ad hoc
- Create comprehensive reports, presentations, and other deliverables for client review
- Present findings and insights to clients via teleconference, videoconference, or face-to-face meetings
- Build and maintain professional relationships with internal teams and external client stakeholders
- Proactively expand knowledge of healthcare industry trends and client engagement methodologies to enhance analytical contributions
