Work From Home Work From Home Work From Home, Indiana 46544 The Data & AI Governance Specialist at Franciscan Alliance is responsible for establishing and operationalizing data and AI governance practices that support high-quality patient care, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and strategic decision-making. This role serves as a bridge between clinical, business, analytics, and technology teams to ensure data and AI assets are trusted, secure, compliant, and used responsibly across the organization. The specialist supports several efforts and processes relevant to enterprise data governance, metadata management, data quality monitoring, AI enablement, data catalog management, and self-service analytics enablement. Working closely with stakeholders across the alliance, this role helps ensure data integrity, responsible AI adoption, healthcare regulatory compliance, and alignment with organizational objectives and values. Additionally, the specialist is responsible for the technical implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of the organization's data and AI governance capabilities. Working in partnership with Data Governance, AI Governance, Analytics, Information Security, Privacy, Compliance, and Business stakeholders, this role designs, configures, and supports the platforms, tools, workflows, and automation that enable effective governance of enterprise data assets and artificial intelligence solutions. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Governance Administer, configure, and optimize data and AI governance platforms, including data catalogs, metadata repositories, business glossaries, AI inventories, governance workflows, and stewardship tools. Support the development, implementation, and adoption of enterprise data and AI governance policies, standards, procedures, controls, and best practices through governance technology and automation solutions. Develop and maintain automated governance workflows that support data stewardship, AI intake and review processes, issue management, approvals, policy compliance, and lifecycle tracking. Maintain Manage and maintain data catalogs, business glossaries, metadata, and data lineage information to ensure accurate documentation, transparency, and visibility of enterprise data assets. Monitor data quality metrics, identify issues, coordinate remediation efforts, and support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of enterprise data. Assist with AI governance processes, including AI inventory management, documentation, risk assessments, model reviews, monitoring activities, and compliance evaluations. Develop governance dashboards, scorecards, metrics, and reporting capabilities that provide visibility into governance activities, data quality performance, compliance status, and AI governance effectiveness. Collect, document, and track AI use cases and support the evaluation, prioritization, and governance review of AI initiatives based on business value, risk, and organizational readiness. Design and support integrations between governance platforms and enterprise systems to improve automation, traceability, monitoring, and adoption of governance practices. Partner with Privacy, Security, Compliance, Legal, Analytics, and business stakeholders to assess risks, support governance reviews, and ensure the secure, ethical, and compliant use of data and AI solutions. Provide governance training, guidance, and operational support to data owners, data stewards, analysts, and business users while promoting governance accountability and stewardship across the organization. Support self-service analytics initiatives by enabling trusted, governed, and certified data assets while ensuring compliance with organizational privacy, security, and regulatory requirements. Serve as a liaison between business, analytics, AI, and technology teams to gather requirements, coordinate governance activities, resolve issues, and ensure governance capabilities align with organizational objectives. QUALIFICATIONS Required Bachelor's Degree Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Public Health, or related field Preferred Master's Degree Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Public Health, or related field 5 years Experience in data governance, analytics, business intelligence, data management, information governance, or related disciplines. Required 3 years Experience gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into technical and functional specifications. Required 3 years Experience working with various data and/or AI governance areas, including responsible AI practices, risk management, or AI-related initiatives. Required 2 years Healthcare or healthcare analytics including HIPAA, healthcare data privacy, and regulatory requirements Preferred 3 years Microsoft Purview, Collibra, Atlan, Informatica, ServiceNow or similar governance related technologies.
