What You’ll Do As a Data Delivery Manager, you’ll lead the successful delivery of data products and services that support Specsavers’ strategic goals and data transformation journey. Working across a variety of business functions, you’ll partner with stakeholders, technical teams, and product owners to drive high-quality outcomes, manage delivery risks, and ensure value is delivered efficiently. You’ll foster a culture of continuous improvement while providing leadership, structure, and visibility across complex data initiatives. Key Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end delivery of data projects and initiatives across multiple business areas, including retail, clinical, and supply chain. Lead one or more data-focused delivery teams to ensure successful, high-quality delivery aligned with business and data strategy objectives. Develop, maintain, and execute delivery plans while effectively balancing capacity, demand, timelines, and priorities. Collaborate with product owners, architects, technical teams, and stakeholders to refine and prioritize backlogs. Facilitate delivery meetings and Agile ceremonies, promoting effective team collaboration and transparency. Monitor delivery performance, milestones, resource allocation, risks, dependencies, and unplanned work. Provide regular reporting and stakeholder communications on project status, progress, capacity, and risks. Manage changes in scope, requirements, budgets, and timelines while maintaining alignment with business objectives. Ensure solutions are appropriately tested, including functional, regression, user acceptance, performance, and end-to-end testing. Support compliance with information security, data privacy, regulatory, and governance requirements, including GDPR. Work closely with data architects and technical teams to align delivery outcomes with enterprise architecture standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating delivery practices, methodologies, and emerging technologies. What We’re Looking For 2+ years of experience delivering data products and services within a matrixed or cross-functional environment. Proven track record of successfully delivering data projects in fast-paced, complex, and evolving environments. Experience managing medium-to-large projects or portfolios of smaller initiatives. Experience using both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies. Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to identify, manage, and mitigate delivery risks, issues, and dependencies. Experience working with cross-functional teams including product, technical, architecture, and business stakeholders. Strong organizational, planning, prioritization, and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt to changing priorities, and remain calm under pressure. Understanding of data platforms and technologies such as Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI. Foundational knowledge of data warehousing and data modelling concepts. Awareness of regulatory and compliance requirements, including GDPR and data governance principles. Relevant project or delivery certifications (Agile, Scrum, PRINCE2, PMI, APM, or similar) are considered an asset. A collaborative, proactive, and solutions-focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and delivering business value. Compensation: $110,000 - $125,000 base salary, plus quarterly bonus, profit sharing, and benefits.
