About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our dynamic team in a full-time remote capacity. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives on solving complex data challenges and takes ownership from the initial design phase through to final delivery. As a Data Engineer at EazyML, you will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable data pipelines, leveraging cutting-edge cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure Fabric. You will work closely with both technical and business stakeholders to understand data requirements, develop robust solutions, and optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer, with a proven track record of developing enterprise-grade data solutions.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure Fabric, Databricks, and other Azure data services.
- Solid understanding of SQL, data modeling concepts, and data architecture best practices.
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data integration solutions.
- Proficiency in Python, Spark, or similar data processing technologies is preferred.
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms in production environments, ensuring reliability and security.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines using Microsoft Azure Fabric, ensuring seamless data flow across systems.
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured data sources, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and deliver actionable insights.
- Implement performance tuning and optimization strategies to enhance data processing workflows for speed and cost-efficiency.
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices to accelerate solution delivery and improve quality.
- Troubleshoot production issues proactively, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Work closely with data architects, analysts, and other developers throughout project lifecycles to ensure alignment and best practices.
- Maintain documentation, adhere to data governance policies, and ensure compliance with security standards.
