Data Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team on a 1-year consulting assignment based in Sweden. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical expert with strong Python skills, deep experience in the Azure ecosystem, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions with minimal onboarding. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines , integrations, and APIs. Work within the Azure cloud environment , leveraging services such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Functions, Storage, and related tools. Implement and support ETL/ELT workflows , data lake architectures, and real-time or near real-time data processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver pragmatic, scalable solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a fast-paced environment. Required Skills & Experience Strong proficiency in Python and hands-on experience working in Azure . Solid understanding of data engineering concepts , including ETL/ELT, orchestration, data lakes, and streaming/real-time processing. Experience with APIs, integration patterns, and cloud-native data services. Background working with large-scale enterprise or industrial environments is a plus. Ability to work independently, take ownership, and deliver results under tight timelines.
