We are looking for a motivated Junior Data Engineer with Snowflake experience to support the design, development, and maintenance of modern cloud-based data platforms. The candidate will work closely with senior data engineers, architects, and analytics teams to build scalable data pipelines, perform data transformations, and support enterprise reporting and analytics initiatives. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in Snowflake, SQL, ETL/ELT development, and cloud-based data engineering . Key Responsibilities Data Engineering Develop and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines. Build and optimize data ingestion frameworks from multiple source systems. Create data transformation logic using SQL and Snowflake. Support integration of structured and semi-structured data sources. Assist in developing reusable data engineering components. Snowflake Development Develop and maintain Snowflake databases, schemas, tables, views, and tasks. Create and optimize Snowflake SQL queries. Support data loading using Snowpipe and bulk-loading mechanisms. Monitor and troubleshoot Snowflake workloads. Assist in performance tuning and cost optimization. Data Quality & Validation Perform data validation and reconciliation activities. Support implementation of data quality checks. Investigate and resolve data issues. Maintain data documentation and metadata. Reporting & Analytics Support Prepare analytics-ready datasets. Support data marts and reporting layers. Work with BI developers and analysts to provide trusted data assets. Collaboration Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint activities. Work with Data Architects, Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and Data Scientists. Follow coding standards and development best practices. Preferred Skills Snowflake Streams & Tasks. Data transformation using DBT. Understanding of dimensional modeling. Experience with Git version control. Knowledge of REST APIs and data integration concepts. Exposure to Databricks, BigQuery, or Spark is a plus. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field. 2–4 years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Warehouse projects.
