Position Summary... What you'll do... About Team: As part of the B2B (Walmart Business) platform, you’ll work with a high-performing team of engineers, architects, and data scientists solving complex data problems that power business customers at scale. Walmart Business enables seamless B2B experiences including bulk purchasing, pricing intelligence, catalog management, and fulfilment optimization. Our data platforms drive analytics, personalization, and decision-making at scale. What you'll do: -Design and build scalable data pipelines processing TB-scale datasets - Develop batch processing systems using Apache Spark on Dataproc - Build real-time pipelines using Apache NiFi - Create data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration workflows using Airflow - Build and manage data marts supporting B2B products - Enable data access via BigQuery, Trino, and Hive - Ensure data quality, integrity, and observability - Optimize pipelines for performance and cost efficiency - Own production systems including NiFi clusters, Airflow, and Dataproc - Integrate data from systems like Salesforce and Marketo What you'll bring: • 5+ years in data engineering • Strong Python + SQL • Experience with Spark (or similar distributed systems) • Hands-on with cloud data platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure – BigQuery preferred) • Experience with Kafka/PubSub and Airflow/Concord • Solid understanding of data modelling and pipeline design About Walmart Global Tech Imagine working in an environment where one line of code can make life easier for hundreds of millions of people.
