About the Role

Mavericks United is expanding its Data Engineering practice and seeking talented U.S.-based professionals. We welcome experienced engineers and early-career candidates with strong technical foundations and a serious interest in building a data engineering career.

Responsibilities

• Design and build data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
• Develop and optimize data models, warehouses and lakes
• Build automation for data ingestion, transformation and quality checks
• Support integrations, testing and troubleshooting
• Participate in technical discussions and client projects
• Follow data engineering standards and best practices

Qualifications

• Currently residing and authorized to work in the United States
• Bachelor's or master's degree in technology or a related field
• Knowledge of Python, SQL, databases or software development
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Data engineering experience, training, certification or practical projects

Experience with Spark, Airflow, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue or REST APIs is preferred. Cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure or GCP) are an advantage but are not required for every opening.
