We’re looking for a
Data Governance & AI Governance Specialist to join KWAN on a high-impact project within an international and data-driven environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Define, document, and maintain enterprise-level data governance policies and classification frameworks;
- Support AI governance and responsible data usage initiatives across the organization;
- Coordinate structured review and approval processes involving multiple stakeholders;
- Work closely with Data Engineering, Compliance, Security, and Governance teams;
- Manage governance workflows and requests through platforms such as Jira or ServiceNow;
- Maintain governance documentation and operational processes using tools like Confluence or Notion;
- Support the management of registries, classification records, and governance tracking activities;
- Analyze registry data, usage metrics, and risk criteria to support decision-making;
- Facilitate workshops and cross-functional collaboration sessions using tools such as Miro.
What we’re looking for
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Compliance, or related areas;
- 1 to 2 years of experience documenting enterprise-level data policies or classification schemas;
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent requests;
- Experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders;
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex governance and regulatory concepts;
- Analytical mindset and comfort working with operational and risk-related data;
- Experience with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow or Jira;
- Familiarity with documentation and collaboration tools such as Confluence, Notion, Airtable, or Miro;
- English C1 (mandatory).
Nice to have
- Exposure to AI/ML governance initiatives;
- Familiarity with GDPR, NIST, ISO 42001, or the EU AI Act;
- Experience with data catalog or data lineage platforms;
- Background working in regulated or enterprise-scale environments.
