About the Role

We’re looking for a Data Operations Analyst to join our team in upholding world-class data quality across our product and analytics environments. In this role, you’ll be a data detective—owning the operational heartbeat of our data processes, uncovering root causes, and collaborating with Engineering and Data Science to refine workflows for efficiency and scale.

Our platform is powered by advanced Machine Learning and AI, helping leading manufacturers in a $2.3T industry make data-driven decisions on pricing, inventory, and product assortment.

Industry: AI & Data Analytics (Building Materials)

What You’ll Do

• Be the Data Detective: Perform root-cause analysis using SQL and Python to uncover nuances and data quality issues.
• Drive QA & Backtesting: Conduct QA procedures to continuously elevate data accuracy and consistency.
• Engineer Automation: Partner with Engineering to identify manual bottlenecks and build automated solutions.
• Optimize Pipelines: Clean and normalize key data sources to ensure seamless end-to-end data flow.
• Visualize Health: Build QA dashboards that give immediate visibility into data health.
• Align Stakeholders: Communicate progress and updates directly to Product and Analytics teams.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 1–3 years as a Data Analyst, QA Analyst, or similar role.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL and experience using Python for data cleaning and normalization.
• Data Warehousing: Familiarity with solutions like Snowflake, Google BigQuery, or ClickHouse.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, etc.) or equivalent practical experience.
• Math & Stats: Basic understanding of accuracy metrics (correlation, variance).
• Bonus: Hands-on experience with visualization tools (Hex, Preset, Tableau).
