Job Description Data Platform Engineer - Snowflake Deine Aufgaben - Betrieb und Weiterentwicklung einer Snowflake-basierten Database Service Plattform innerhalb der Global Data Platform (GDP) - Bereitstellung und Administration von skalierbaren Snowflake Umgebungen ("GDP Apps") für Datenprodukte - Implementierung und Optimierung von Governance-, Security- und Zugriffskonzepten (z. B. RBAC, Data Protection) - Automatisierung von Provisionierung, Deployment und Betrieb mittels Infrastructure as Code (IaC, z. B. Terraform, CI/CD Github / Gitlab) - Analyse und Nutzung neuer Snowflake Features (z. B. Workspaces, Cortex AI, Data Sharing) zur Weiterentwicklung des Plattformangebots - Unterstützung und Beratung von Data Engineers und Fachbereichen bei der Nutzung der Plattform (Self-Service Enablement) - Monitoring und Optimierung von Performance, Kosten und Ressourcennutzung (FinOps) - Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Plattform-, Orchestrierungs- (Airflow/dbt) und Reporting-Teams in einem internationalen Umfeld Dein Profil - Mehrjährige Erfahrung im Betrieb und in der Administration von Cloud Data Platforms, idealerweise Snowflake - Sehr gute SQL-Kenntnisse sowie fundiertes Verständnis moderner Data Warehouse Architekturen - Erfahrung mit Snowflake-spezifischen Konzepten (z. B. Virtual Warehouses, RBAC, Data Sharing, Streams/Tasks) von Vorteil - Kenntnisse in Cloud-Umgebungen (AWS und/oder Azure) sowie in Infrastructure as Code (z. B. Terraform) - Erfahrung mit CI/CD und Versionsverwaltung (z. B. GitLab, Github) - Verständnis von Security- und Governance-Anforderungen in Cloud Data Plattformen (IAM, Verschlüsselung, Compliance) - Erfahrung im Plattformbetrieb oder Platform Engineering Umfeld (DevOps / DevSecOps / DataOps Mindset) - Ausgeprägte Kommunikationsfähigkeit sowie Erfahrung in der Zusammenarbeit mit internationalen Teams und Fachbereichen - Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse mind.
