The Data Product Manager will lead the strategy, delivery, and ongoing management of assigned enterprise data products or components of a data domain. Operating at the intersection of business, data engineering, analytics, and governance, this role will translate business needs into scalable, trusted data assets that support business decision-making, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance within a highly regulated financial services environment. What you will do: Own the roadmap and execution for assigned data products or portions of a data domain. Partner with business stakeholders to identify use cases and translate requirements into outcome-driven data product features. Define and maintain product documentation, including product requirements documents, epics, and user stories for datasets, metrics, APIs, and dashboards. Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and platform teams using Agile delivery practices. Ensure data products are reliable, discoverable, secure, fit for purpose, and meet established standards for data quality, performance, availability, scalability, and security. Implement data governance requirements, including metadata management, data lineage, and data quality controls. Support regulatory, risk, and audit reviews related to data access, privacy, and retention. Track and report on data product usage, quality, and delivery metrics. Drive adoption through documentation, enablement, and stakeholder communication. What you will bring: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field. 5 to 7+ years of product management experience, including exposure to data, analytics, or platform products. Working knowledge of data warehouses, data lakes, and data pipelines. Experience translating business needs into clear, actionable data product requirements. Familiarity with Agile and Scrum delivery methodologies. Basic understanding of data governance concepts and financial services controls. What will set you apart: Experience in financial services, fintech, or another regulated industry. Experience with business intelligence and analytics tools and metrics layers. A background in analytics, data engineering, or quantitative roles. Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, including AWS, Azure, or GCP. This job operates in a professional office environment. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance.
