Data Scientist

The Role

• Further the team's data strategy through statistical modelling and alternative data research
• Build predictive models to identify alpha signals from diverse data sources
• Develop and maintain reproducible data science processes and tools in Python and SQL
• Collaborate with investment professionals to deliver data-driven solutions
• Communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Contribute to best practices for data access, documentation, and reproducibility
  
  

What You'll Need

• At least three years of relevant experience in data science
• Strong statistics and/or machine learning background
• Highly proficient in Python (pandas, NumPy, SciPy, matplotlib/seaborn) and SQL
• Demonstrated interest in financial markets and fundamental investing
• Experience with cloud-based data tools (ideally Azure) and large language models (LLMs)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders
