The Role As a Data Specialist, you will sit at the technical core of our account teams, working directly with leading automotive customers at the absolute forefront of AD/ADAS perception model development. You'll act as the primary technical expert, translating customers' complex model requirements into specifications precise enough for hundreds of annotators to apply consistently, at scale. This role seamlessly blends deep domain expertise in autonomous perception with hands-on data workflow optimization, technical customer onboarding, and cross-functional collaboration. We are a team of Data Specialists working with various customers, sharing knowledge and best practices with one another. We work a hybrid remote setup with at least one day a week at the Gothenburg Office. What You’ll Do Technical Ownership: Lead the technical setup of customer projects, serving as the primary authority on data quality, workflow design, and annotation requirements. Customer & Strategic Advisory: Influence clients on how system safety objectives and system KPIs translate into annotation context, quality benchmarks, and dataset designs. Cross-Functional Expertise: Act as a technical bridge between customers, internal engineering teams, and delivery managers to address customer-specific data challenges. Workflow Optimization: Design and refine the quality assurance approach for your accounts, deciding where the right level of quality sits while ensuring high productivity Who You Are You're an adaptable domain expert who draws energy from a multi-stakeholder environment. When priorities from different customers and internal teams compete for attention, you stay grounded and positive, using clear communication to align everyone around the right technical solution. Education: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Automotive Engineering, Machine Learning, Information Systems, or a related field. Customer Facing: Proven track record in customer-facing technical roles (conducting demos, analyzing complex data requirements, and driving technical solutions). Experience: Deep experience in data quality or related fields, with a strong focus on AD/ADAS perception systems. With deep knowledge of sensor modalities, dataset design, and how annotated data directly impacts model training and safety compliance. Technical Tools: Hands-on coding experience. Language Skills: Excellent written and spoken English. Chinese is an advantage. Meritorious: Experience using AI tools to simplify, automate, and optimize workflows or knowledge from manufacturing.
