About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Data Warehouse Architect to join our data engineering team and take ownership of the architecture, design, and evolution of enterprise data warehouse solutions.

You will work closely with Data Engineers, BI Developers, Data Analysts, Solution Architects, and business stakeholders to build scalable, reliable, and high-performance data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise data warehouse architectures and data models.
• Define data warehouse standards, architecture principles, and best practices.
• Design scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration solutions.
• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Optimize data warehouse performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Work with large and complex datasets from multiple business sources.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and BI teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Support cloud and modern data platform initiatives.
• Define data governance, data quality, security, and metadata management approaches.
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend appropriate architectural solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to Data Engineers and other technical team members.
• Translate business requirements into robust and scalable technical solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data Warehousing / Data Architecture / Data Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts, architecture, and dimensional modelling.
• Excellent SQL skills.
• Experience with ETL/ELT technologies and data integration.
• Strong experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or Snowflake.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Kimball / dimensional modelling principles.
• Experience designing scalable and high-performance data solutions.
• Understanding of data governance, data quality, security, and metadata.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Fluent English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse, BigQuery, or AWS Redshift.
• Experience with Power BI or other BI platforms.
• Knowledge of Python.
• Experience with modern data lake / lakehouse architectures.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
