Dazed US Video Editor Internship Job Title: Video Editor Intern Department: Dazed Studio US Location: New York, NY (Hybrid) Role Type: Internship Commitment: September 29th - December 17th [12 weeks] Hours: 15 hours per week Tuesday & Thursday- in person, half day Wednesday- remote, half day Pay: $3,500 Deadline For Application: Monday, September 21st ROLE OVERVIEW Dazed is looking for a talented Video Editor Intern to join our creative team. This role will support both Dazed social editorial video projects and commercial studio productions, working across live client campaigns, branded content, and internal storytelling. As part of the Dazed Studio NYC team, you’ll collaborate with producers, designers, and editors to bring cutting-edge ideas to life– from quick-turn social edits to polished case study sizzle reels. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both editorial and commercial creative work at one of the world’s most influential cultural brands. What You’ll Do: Support editing for social-first video content across Dazed channels. Assist on commercial studio projects, including branded campaigns and live client deliverables. Help create sizzle reels and case study edits that showcase our creative impact. Work closely with creatives, producers and designers to align with brand identity and client needs. Stay on top of digital trends and contribute creative input to new video concepts. What We’re Looking For: Current college student or recent graduate Eligible to work in the United States Strong skills in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects or motion design knowledge is a big plus). A keen eye for visual storytelling, pacing, and sound design. Passion for youth culture, fashion, music, and digital storytelling. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
