About the Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled DBA Consultant to join an international technology team supporting large-scale cloud, database, middleware, and application platforms. This role combines operational excellence, system governance, cloud infrastructure support, and cross-functional collaboration in a global environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of database and middleware services while contributing to platform standardization and modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide operation, maintenance, and governance support for database and middleware platforms.
• Participate in on-call rotations and support the resolution of infrastructure, performance, and cloud resource-related incidents.
• Implement and maintain platform-wide database and middleware management standards.
• Support migration, optimization, and governance initiatives across the technology landscape.
• Manage the deployment, release, and operational support of business applications.
• Contribute to container platform governance and application modernization initiatives.
• Drive initiatives aimed at improving infrastructure efficiency and resource utilization.
• Collaborate with international engineering and operations teams to ensure platform reliability and service excellence.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong understanding of Linux operating systems.
• Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP and HTTP.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Knowledge of international data protection and privacy regulations, including GDPR.
• Familiarity with AI technologies, large language models, and Agent development frameworks.
• Experience administering and supporting at least one relational database technology, such as:
• MySQL
• PostgreSQL
• Experience managing and maintaining caching technologies, such as:
• Redis
• MemCache
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multicultural and distributed team environment.

Language Requirements

• Professional English communication skills are required.
• Chinese language skills are highly valued due to collaboration with international teams and stakeholders.
