We are seeking an experienced DC Power Technician to join our Critical Infrastructure team. In this role, you will install, maintain, troubleshoot, test, and commission DC power systems that support mission-critical facilities, including telecommunications networks, data centers, and utility infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced DC power professionals who have worked with battery systems, rectifiers, inverters, and -48V DC power plants in telecom or critical power environments. Responsibilities Install, upgrade, and commission DC power systems and equipment. Install and terminate DC power cabling according to engineering drawings and specifications. Perform battery installations, battery replacements, and preventive maintenance. Install and configure rectifiers, inverters, power distribution equipment, and associated DC systems. Read and interpret electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, and construction drawings. Perform equipment testing, troubleshooting, and system verification prior to commissioning. Ensure all work complies with company, customer, and industry safety standards. Maintain accurate documentation, job reports, and material usage. Work closely with project managers, customers, and field teams to complete projects safely and on schedule. Travel to customer sites throughout the Northeast as required. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 5+ years of experience installing or maintaining DC power systems or telecom power infrastructure. Experience working with battery plants, rectifiers, inverters, and DC distribution systems. Familiarity with telecommunications, data center, or critical infrastructure environments preferred. Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering drawings. Experience using electrical testing equipment and standard hand and power tools. Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail. Valid driver's license. Willingness to travel frequently. Preferred Certifications OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 NFPA 70E CPR / First Aid Physical Requirements Lift up to 75 lbs. Climb ladders, work at heights, and work in confined spaces. Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to travel extensively, including overnight travel, with occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays based on project schedules.
