Delivery Planner

Role Description The Delivery Planner is responsible for coordinating and scheduling deliveries to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately, efficiently, and on time in a full-time, remote role. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing customer orders, planning delivery routes, and aligning shipment schedules with warehouse, logistics, and sales teams. The role involves monitoring delivery status, resolving delays or issues, and updating internal systems and stakeholders with accurate information. The Delivery Planner will analyze capacity, optimize transport utilization, and maintain documentation related to shipments, delivery notes, and compliance requirements. This position also supports continuous improvement initiatives in delivery processes, contributes to customer service by addressing delivery-related inquiries, and collaborates with internal teams to meet service-level and cost-efficiency

• Candidates should possess strong delivery planning, scheduling, and coordination skills, with experience managing multiple orders and timelines.
• Candidates should possess skills in logistics management, route optimization, and inventory or warehouse coordination to support end-to-end delivery operations.
• Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret data, identify bottlenecks, and propose practical process improvements.
• Candidates should possess communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work closely with internal teams and external partners in a remote setting.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with planning and productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, ERP or logistics systems) and strong attention to detail for documentation and reporting.
• Relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, or distribution planning is beneficial, especially within industrial or construction-related sectors.
• A diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is advantageous, though equivalent experience may be considered.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a focus on safety, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.
