Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The Opportunity We’re looking for a Programme Manager who can bring clarity, structure, and strategic leadership to large, complex programmes of work. In this role, you’ll provide the direction, governance, and coordination needed to deliver critical network capability and infrastructure initiatives - ensuring they’re completed to the highest standards of quality, cost efficiency, and long-term serviceability. This is a role for someone who thrives on challenge and collaboration. You’ll be a trusted partner across our business and with external service companies, leading best practice in infrastructure delivery and championing continuous improvement across the network. Your leadership will shape how we work with our partners, our communities, and our customers- ensuring we deliver a network that performs today and is ready for tomorrow. Ō Wheako, ō Pūkenga | Your Experience You’ll be a seasoned programme leader who combines technical depth with operational excellence - someone who can navigate complexity, build strong relationships, and deliver outcomes that make a difference. To thrive in this role, you’ll bring: Significant experience (8+ years) in programme and project management, leading significant end to end, enterprise-wide programmes of work Exposure to agile practices and tools An understanding of network build, deployment, maintenance, or large-scale infrastructure delivery would be advantageous Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; must be comfortable engaging with local authorities, partners, and technical teams alike A focus on continuous improvement, with the ability to identify opportunities and drive sustainable change Sound commercial judgement and experience managing budgets, cost recoveries, and forecasting A collaborative leadership style that fosters accountability, engagement, and delivery excellence Mō mātou | About us We’re shaping a future where all New Zealanders are free to access opportunities that define their own lives, as we expand our network to help Aotearoa grow.
