Position Overview We’re looking for a Demand Planner who will play a key role in driving WÜSTHOF’s supply chain efficiency by delivering accurate forecasts, optimizing inventory, and supporting our SIOP process. This position will work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Logistics teams to ensure supply and demand are aligned to meet our global business objectives. The Demand Planner will analyze sales trends, manage forecasts, and coordinate production and logistics activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical mindset, proven experience in supply and demand planning, and a deep understanding of SIOP processes. This role requires a mix of technical proficiency, business acumen, and cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities & Duties: Lead the demand planning process from data collection to forecast generation, analysis, and alignment across departments. Partner with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to develop monthly demand plans and support the SIOP cycle. Manage inventory planning, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing excess or obsolete inventory. Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track forecast accuracy, service levels, and inventory KPIs. Collaborate with production and procurement to translate demand signals into executable supply plans. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance forecast accuracy and planning efficiency. Conduct ad hoc analysis to support business decisions and supply chain initiatives. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field. 5+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or S&OP/SIOP processes. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience interpreting large datasets and translating insights into actionable plans. Proficiency with ERP/MRP and forecasting tools; experience with SAP, or Kinaxis is a plus. Advanced Excel and BI tool proficiency (Power BI, Tableau, or similar). Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with global supply chain operations, including import/export logistics, is a plus. WÜSTHOF is an equal opportunity employer and we are committed to creating a diverse team.
