The Role

As Deputy Chief of Staff, you'll serve as a trusted operator within the Office of the CEO, partnering closely with the Founder and Chief of Staff to keep high-priority initiatives moving across multiple AI ventures.

You'll:

• Manage relationships with investors, partners, media, and key external stakeholders
• Prepare board materials, investor updates, presentations, and executive communications
• Coordinate legal, regulatory, and government affairs initiatives with external counsel
• Support strategic projects including fundraising, market research, hiring, partnerships, and new venture launches
• Act as a trusted extension of the CEO, ensuring priorities are executed with speed and precision

We're Looking For Someone Who Has:

• 3–5 years' experience in Investment Banking, Venture Capital, Management Consulting, Chief of Staff, Strategy, or Executive Office roles
• Experience supporting senior executives or founders with significant external stakeholder exposure
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics for investors, partners, and executives
• Experience in startup, venture-backed, or venture studio environments
• Daily user of AI tools such as Claude, Copilot, Gemini, or similar productivity platforms
• Strong judgement, discretion, and the ability to manage confidential and high-impact work
• Bachelor's degree required (elite or technical university preferred)
• Based in the U.S. and willing to travel to San Francisco approximately one week per month
