Job Description Overview We are looking for a Deputy Project Manager with 8 to 10 years of experience in industrial construction projects, preferably within pharmaceutical, semiconductor, cleanroom, or similar industrial facility environments. Based in Penang, this role supports end-to-end project delivery by coordinating stakeholders, managing construction execution, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget targets are met, while assisting the Project Manager in driving successful project outcomes. Your role Support the Project Manager in the overall delivery of projects and assume the Project Manager role when required. Lead and coordinate project execution, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives are achieved Manage stakeholders including Construction Managers, contractors, operations teams, designers, vendors, and site personnel Monitor project budget, schedule, progress, risks, and key deliverables Oversee construction activities and provide direction to site teams to ensure successful project execution Prepare project reports and drive timely resolution of project issues and risks Coordinate with Testing & Commissioning (T&C) teams to support commissioning, start-up, and project close-out activities Ensure compliance with client requirements, project procedures, quality standards, and HSE requirements Support project planning, resource allocation, procurement coordination, and contract administration as required Build and maintain positive client relationships and support business development opportunities where appropriate About you 8-10 years of experience in industrial construction projects Strong construction and site execution background Experience in pharmaceutical, semiconductor, cleanroom or industrial facilities Mechanical and CSA (Civil, Structural & Architectural) project and site coordination experience preferred To be based in Penang.
