Job Title: Design Engineer

Location: Ortigas, Pasig, PH

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM PH Time (Hybrid | 3x Onsite, 2x WFH)

Job Details:

We are seeking a PT Design Engineer to independently deliver high-quality PT slab designs and engineering solutions. The role requires a minimum of five years' experience in PT slab design, advanced proficiency in RAM Concept and RAPT, and the ability to efficiently manage project workloads while maintaining exceptional technical accuracy and quality. The successful candidate will conduct engineering investigations, resolve complex technical issues, prepare detailed engineering reports, and ensure compliance with relevant Australian Standards and industry requirements. Strong communication skills are essential for liaising with clients, builders, consultants, and internal stakeholders, along with proven organizational and project management capabilities. Candidates must hold a relevant Structural Engineering qualification, be a registered or licensed engineer, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering practical, constructible, and cost-effective design solutions with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the design of post-tensioned (PT) slabs.
• Demonstrated proficiency in RAM Concept and RAPT for PT slab analysis and design.
• Ability to independently deliver a minimum of 15 tonnes of PT design per week, while maintaining a high standard of technical quality and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, effectively manage priorities, and meet project deadlines.
• Capable of undertaking engineering investigations, assessing technical issues, and preparing detailed engineering reports.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Structural Engineering.
• Registered/licensed engineer with the relevant professional engineering body.
• Previous experience working within a structural engineering or PT engineering environment.
• Strong client interaction and communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with clients, builders, consultants, and internal teams.
• Excellent technical report-writing skills are essential.
• Strong organisational and project management skills will be highly regarded.
• Good understanding of relevant Australian Standards and industry requirements for PT and structural design.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, practical, and constructible designs.
