A fast-growing direct-to-consumer (D2C) fashion tech brand operating across India and Southeast Asia, we blend data-driven design with agile manufacturing to deliver trend-led, body-inclusive apparel at speed. Our design engineering team sits at the intersection of product creativity and technical execution—translating consumer insights, fit analytics, and material innovation into scalable, production-ready garment specifications. Remote-first by design, we empower engineers to build the future of fashion tech from anywhere in India. Role & Responsibilities

• Lead the technical specification of apparel products—from sketch to pattern to tech pack—ensuring design intent meets manufacturability, cost, and quality benchmarks.
• Collaborate with designers and merchandising to translate style concepts into engineering documents (BOMs, grading rules, tolerance specs) for domestic and offshore factories.
• Optimize material usage and construction methods using 2D/3D pattern software to reduce fabric waste and improve yield without compromising fit or aesthetics.
• Conduct fit sessions (virtual or in-person) and lead fit corrections using body scan data, size chart analytics, and real-user feedback loops.
• Partner with supply chain to qualify new materials, evaluate vendor capabilities, and resolve engineering bottlenecks in production ramp-ups.
• Build and maintain digital libraries of standard blocks, fit templates, and engineering best practices to accelerate future product development cycles.
