Design Engineer
and
Project Engineer
positions to join us in our headquarters in Downtown Los Angeles, located on the 37th Floor of 725 S. Figueroa Street or in our San Diego office located in the Gaslamp Quarter at 225 Broadway. The
Design Engineer
and
Project Engineer
positions involve design and detailing of structural systems for large, complex structures in many market sectors, primarily Type I construction. Applicant must be able to coordinate with BIM designers, architects and other consultants and will work directly with a Project Manager and a team of structural engineers in a dynamic office environment. Requirements
Required Qualifications
1 to 4 years of building design experience.
Experience in a wide variety of structural materials and building types with emphasis on design of larger steel and concrete structures in multiple market sectors.
PE license is a plus.
Experience with DSA and HCAI/OSHPD is a plus.
Experience with seismic evaluation and retrofit of existing buildings using ASCE 41 is a plus.
Master’s degree from a US university in structural engineering is highly desirable.
Candidates holding a PhD degree from a US university are encouraged to apply. Compensation will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Strong communication and people skills, and team players required.
All candidates must be eligible to work and are located in the US.
