The Role We’re looking for designers who think strategically and creatively across a variety of project types. Portfolios should demonstrate conceptual thinking, strategic insight, and exceptional craft. Multidisciplinary skills such as illustration, animation, or spatial design are a plus. What You’ll Do Take ideas from initial concept through execution alongside creatives, technologists, producers and leadership. Develop original design directions and refine work within established brand guidelines and visual centers. Combine conceptual thinking with craft and attention to detail Adapt to different brand styles and visual directions, spotting opportunities for unexpected interactive, environmental, or animation outputs. Find outside inspiration, and bring new thinking and ideas into the studio. What We’re Looking For 2+ years of experience in a similar role Proficiency in Figma or Adobe Creative Cloud A passion and hunger for learning and up-leveling your craft Portfolio showing solid fundamentals, attention to detail, inventive design thinking and high-level execution in brand experience work (spec work is welcome) A collaborative team player that is motivated, pro-active and positive. Multi-disciplinary interests in other media (illustration, animation, 3D, etc.) The average salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 annually, plus comprehensive benefits. Salary is determined by a combination of factors that include qualifications, applicable skills, relevant experience and other budgetary considerations such as location/geography. Hovercraft is a remote-first company, working primarily on Pacific and Mountain time. Anyone/anywhere in the United States is encouraged to apply. You must be eligible to work in the US.
