Role Workfront Designer

Location: 100% remote

The Workfront Designer role is responsible for the operational health, adoption, and ongoing success of our enterprise Workfront instance supporting 10,000+ users. This role sits at the intersection of platform governance, user enablement, reporting and analytics, and day‑to‑day system administration, ensuring the platform continues to scale with business needs.

We are looking for a seasoned practitioner with deep Workfront expertise, strong consultative skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a complex, fast‑paced enterprise environment. This role will lead user implementation and enablement efforts, drive continuous platform optimization, maintain system integrity and data quality, and provide advanced support for escalated issues.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable shaping long‑term strategy and executing tactical deliverables, balancing proactive improvements with responsive support while fostering strong engagement and trust across the Workfront ecosystem.

What You’ll Do

  • User Implementation, Engagement, & Adoption
  • Lead team onboarding through Workfront Planning, including intake coordination, prioritization, backlog grooming, and consultation aligned to business needs
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, governed Workfront configurations in partnership with cross‑functional stakeholders
  • Develop, publish, and maintain enablement and onboarding assets (guides, job aids, demos, videos, FAQs, troubleshooting, and escalation paths), ensuring alignment with platform releases and product updates
  • Facilitate weekly office hours, training sessions, and demonstrations to drive user adoption, reinforce best practices, address questions, and surface improvement opportunities
  • Drive awareness and engagement through community Slack communications, announcements, and updates to internal websites, knowledge hubs, and AEM Sites (including governance and content lifecycle management)
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure all content remains accurate, relevant, and aligned with ongoing platform evolution
  • Own AI-related product release enablement, including planning structured agendas, synthesizing release information into clear user-focused narratives, and translating new capabilities into practical, role-based use cases
  • Create and maintain ongoing AI and platform training resources and reference materials to support enterprise self-service learning and adoption
  • User Support & Troubleshooting
  • Provide Tier 2 Workfront support by diagnosing and resolving complex configuration, access, workflow, and reporting issues through root cause analysis, recommending solutions, and coordinating escalations with Adobe Support as needed
  • Monitor Adobe release notes and roadmap changes to anticipate user impact, inform support readiness, and deliver product demos that highlight opportunities for expanded value
  • Develop and refine Tier 0 self‑service guidance to reduce support volume, improve time to resolution, and increase user independence
  • Governance, System Health & Technical Debt Reduction
  • Lead platform cleanup and governance initiatives by auditing and retiring obsolete users, projects, reports, templates, fields, and legacy configurations (including GenStudio), reducing technical debt and maintaining system stability and performance
  • Enforce and evolve platform governance standards across access controls, naming conventions, custom forms, layouts, and object lifecycle management
  • Design, maintain, and optimize reports and dashboards that translate complex operational, adoption, and performance data into clear, actionable insights for leadership and executive decision‑making
  • Partner with stakeholders to align AI feature adoption with business objectives and governance standards, while tracking and reporting on AI usage, engagement, and value to identify gaps, opportunities, and recommendations for responsible adoption
  • Platform Support
  • Partner with business users to identify and execute project and data clean‑up initiatives, archiving or correcting inactive, outdated, or misconfigured projects
  • Lead custom field and configuration clean‑up efforts, identifying and retiring obsolete objects, redundant fields, unused layouts, and legacy configurations that contribute to technical debt
  • Develop role‑based reports and dashboards tailored to user personas
  • Conduct periodic user audits to ensure correct access levels, layout templates, team assignments, licensing, and retirement of unused objects
  • Audit reporting assets to remove redundancies, resolve data inconsistencies, and close identified visibility gaps
