Posted Friday, August 7, 2026 at 4:00 AM OVERVIEW The Designer is responsible for utilizing AutoCAD/ REVIT to prepare or modify project drawings related to food service equipment. This position also assists the Project Manager in the administration and coordination of project activities. The Designer must be self-motivated with high energy and the ability to interact with numerous individuals, in multiple functions, in a dynamic and changing environment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Using computer aided drafting software, develop drawings and documentation to support the assigned project team Operate associated plotters and printers Review food service equipment plans, equipment cut sheets, custom fabrication drawings, mechanical and architectural plans for use in preparation of drawings pertaining to items sold or installed by Singer Coordinate with contractors, designers, technicians, and other project stakeholders to incorporate concepts and information into drawing packages Assemble documentation for project, including spec sheet books, plans, and specifications for all equipment, etc., and distribute as required Perform a wide variety of administrative duties to support projects related to estimating, operations, and business development Assist the project team in reviewing quotes and manufacturer shop drawings for equipment description and physical requirements, accurately incorporating requirements into drawings Maintain the documentation related to coordination and changes to scope of work, including generation and tracking of revisions Assist in obtaining field measurements as requested Attend project meetings as required Communicate both internally and externally with other departments, including but not limited to estimating, procurement, and project coordination regarding project issues and changes Execute all work in accordance with SINGER processes and procedures MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High School diploma or equivalent. 3-5 years of experience using AutoCAD and Revit, preferably in the food service equipment or construction industries Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Experience using AutoQuotes is a plus Ability to measure and document field conditions using words, dimensions and sketches as required Effective interpersonal skills to successfully work with others in the organization Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail; highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized Flexible in schedule to enable the company to meet customer needs – overtime and weekends may be necessary and required
