Desktop Application Engineer

Some problems belong on the desktop — heavy local compute, GPU work, hardware access, or running models entirely on-device. You will build fast, native-feeling desktop applications that do things a browser tab simply cannot.

This role is fully remote — applicants must be located in Romania. The company is based in Iași.

What you'll do

• Design and ship cross-platform desktop applications for Windows, macOS, and Linux
• Integrate local compute — GPU acceleration, local model inference, or hardware and device access
• Build tooling and control-panel style apps for internal teams and clients (think local-LLM serving UIs)
• Own packaging, auto-update, and the release pipeline for desktop deliverables
  
  

What we're looking for

• 4+ years building production desktop or systems-level applications
• Experience with a desktop stack — Electron/Tauri, C#/.NET, C++, or similar
• Comfortable with local resource management: threads, memory, GPU, and filesystem
• A shipping mindset — installers, updates, and support, not just a running binary
  
  

Nice to have

• C#/.NET or C++/Unity graphics and rendering experience
• Local model serving or GPU/CUDA workloads on the desktop
• Native OS integration and code-signing / distribution experience
