Destination Services / Global Mobility Coordinator – Greenville/Spartanburg, SC
KGO is seeking an experienced Destination Services / Global Mobility Coordinator to support international employees and their families relocating to the Greenville/Spartanburg, South Carolina area.
This is a hybrid role combining remote project and case-management responsibilities with in-person support throughout the Greenville/Spartanburg area. The ideal candidate brings experience in hospitality, destination services, global mobility, employee relocation, or a similarly high-touch client service environment and understands how to make a major relocation feel organized, welcoming, and as stress-free as possible.
Bilingual proficiency in German and/or Spanish is required.
What You'll Do
You will serve as a key point of contact for relocating employees and their families, helping coordinate the many details associated with an international move and transition to life in Upstate South Carolina.
Responsibilities may include:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for relocating employees and families throughout their transition
- Conduct needs assessments to understand family preferences, priorities, timelines, and destination-service requirements
- Coordinate preparation and orientation trips to the Greenville/Spartanburg area
- Develop and manage detailed itineraries, appointments, and schedules
- Provide local guidance on communities, schools, transportation, banking, utilities, government services, and other quality-of-life considerations
- Coordinate appointments such as school tours, banking visits, HR meetings, screenings, and other relocation-related activities
- Assist employees and families with settling-in activities, including banking, utilities, registrations, Social Security and driver's license processes
- Coordinate with real estate professionals, property managers, landlords, temporary housing providers, household-goods providers, and other service partners as needed
- Help coordinate temporary housing and other arrival-related requirements
- Support move-in and move-out activities and ensure appropriate documentation and follow-up
- Maintain regular communication with employees, client representatives, and service providers
- Track cases, milestones, deadlines, issues, and outstanding actions using relocation/case-management technology
- Proactively identify and escalate issues while helping develop practical solutions
- Support lease renewals, assignment extensions, exceptions, and other ongoing assignment needs in coordination with appropriate specialists
- Assist with expense-management processes, documentation, tracking, and reporting as required
- Support end-of-assignment and repatriation activities
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to client reporting and performance metrics
This position is focused on destination services, employee experience, coordination, and case management. It is not a real estate agent or physical household-goods mover position.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Experience in hospitality, global mobility, relocation/destination services, concierge services, corporate housing, employee mobility, or another high-touch service environment
- Bilingual in German and/or Spanish
- Strong working knowledge of Greenville, Spartanburg, and the surrounding Upstate South Carolina area
- Ability and willingness to work in a hybrid environment, including meeting relocating employees and families in person throughout the Greenville/Spartanburg area
- Exceptional customer-service and relationship-management skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple employees, families, schedules, vendors, and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable working with people from different countries, cultures, and backgrounds
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain responsive when plans or circumstances change
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning case-management and relocation technology platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience supporting international employee relocations or global mobility programs
- Project management or project coordination experience
- Experience coordinating multiple vendors and service providers
- Familiarity with corporate relocation policies, expense-management processes, or assignment administration
- Experience working in a corporate or professional-services environment

This role requires someone who is equally comfortable managing a detailed project plan and helping a family navigate their first days in a new country and community.
Work Arrangement
Hybrid – Greenville/Spartanburg, South Carolina
The position will include remote administrative/project work as well as regular in-person destination-service activities in the Greenville/Spartanburg area. Candidates must have reliable transportation and the flexibility to attend appointments and support relocating employees and families locally.
Language Requirement: Bilingual proficiency in German and/or Spanish is required.
