Developer Productivity Engineer at BairesDev

As a Developer Productivity Engineer, you will focus on enhancing engineering velocity by building robust internal tools and optimizing build systems. You will streamline the developer experience, ensuring that technical teams can deliver high-quality code with minimal friction and maximum efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop internal tools and IDE plugins to improve the daily workflows of engineering teams.
• Optimize and maintain build systems to reduce wait times and accelerate the commit-to-production lifecycle.
• Create and monitor developer productivity metrics to identify bottlenecks and measure the impact of tooling improvements.
• Automate repetitive manual tasks and "toil" within the development process to protect the creative flow of engineers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish standardized "golden paths" for software delivery and environment setup.
• Evangelize best practices in developer experience (DevEx) to foster a highly efficient and satisfied engineering culture.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in Developer Infrastructure, Tooling, or Software Engineering.
• Proven expertise in building and maintaining internal tools to improve engineering velocity.
• Hands-on experience optimizing build systems and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in developing IDE plugins and developer-facing interfaces.
• Strong background in defining and tracking developer productivity metrics.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
