AI agents are now writing, testing, and running code inside real products. That creates a new infrastructure layer: fast, isolated runtime environments that developers can spin up through an API.

This company is building that layer. Its platform gives engineering teams secure cloud sandboxes for AI agents, coding tools, CI/CD workflows, and reinforcement learning environments. Customers range from fast-moving AI startups to some of the world’s largest technology and enterprise organisations.

This role is based in Singapore and is open to candidates already there or open to relocating.

The Role

As a Developer Relations Engineer, you will help developers understand, adopt, and build with the platform across APAC.

This is not a traditional DevRel role focused only on community or content. You need to be able to write code, test the product, build integrations, explain technical ideas clearly, and represent the company at developer events.

You will work closely with engineering, product, partnerships, and go-to-market teams. One day you might be writing technical documentation or building a demo integration. Another day you might be speaking at an event in Singapore, Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur, or Sydney.

The role suits someone who enjoys being technical, visible, and close to the market.

What You Will Be Doing

• Building demos, examples, and integrations that show developers what the platform can do.

• Writing technical documentation, guides, blog posts, and product explainers.

• Representing the company at developer events, meetups, conferences, and customer sessions across APAC.

• Working hands-on with APIs, SDKs, CLI tooling, and sandbox environments.

• Testing new platform capabilities and feeding practical product feedback back into engineering.

• Helping developers understand how to use cloud sandboxes for AI agents, CI/CD workflows, and coding environments.

• Supporting go-to-market teams with technical context for launches, integrations, and partner conversations.

• Turning customer and developer questions into useful content, examples, and product improvements.

• Building credibility with technical users by being genuinely useful, not just visible.

What You Need To Succeed

• Strong coding ability and the confidence to build real technical examples.

• Experience in developer relations, solutions engineering, developer advocacy, field engineering, or a hands-on technical role with external users.

• Comfortable working with APIs, SDKs, CLI tooling, and developer infrastructure.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Comfortable speaking at events, recording demos, or explaining technical ideas to groups.

• Able to work across engineering, product, partnerships, and commercial teams.

• Interest in AI coding tools, agentic workflows, cloud infrastructure, and developer tooling.

• Strong self-direction in a distributed, remote-first team.

• Good judgement on what developers actually need to understand, build, and adopt.

Nice To Have

• Experience with Go, Python, TypeScript, or similar languages.

• Familiarity with Docker, containers, sandboxing, Kubernetes, or cloud-native infrastructure.

• Experience building demos for developer tools or infrastructure products.

• Background in open source, technical writing, or developer community work.

• Exposure to AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, OpenCode, or similar.

• Experience supporting events or developer communities across APAC.

• Prior experience in an early-stage or growth-stage developer tools company.
