Development/Project Manager

Company Description:

Biotron Limited (ASX:BIT), a Sydney-based life science company, is seeking to expand its team by appointing a Decelopment/Project Manager for its exciting portfolio of clinical and preclinical programs A fantastic opportunity to join a highly experienced team, this position will support all facets of research and development as well as business operatioincluding general anaesthetic, neuroscience, and antiviral agents.

Role:

The successful applicant will be responsible for project management of the R&D programs, liaising with external contractors, ensuring timely and efficient conduct of all relevant R&D activities.

The role would suit an experienced person with relevant industry experience in commercially-focused drug development within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.

The successful applicant must have excellent verbal communication and technical writing skills, strong interpersonal capabilities, sound organisation and project management skills, and have the flexibility, initiative and drive that is necessary to work effectively in a tight team. The role is varied, with the opportunity to support many aspects of drug development, from research through to clinical trials, in collaborative working environment.

Experience in commercially-focused drug development is essential, as are working to tight deadlines, liaising and managing external contracts, and working as part of a small, focused life science company. Prior experience in neuroscientific and antiviral fields would be well regarded.

The position is currently remote, with flexibility regarding hours worked. Applicants must have Australian residency or a valid work permit.

Preferred candidate:

The successful applicant will hold a degree in a discipline relevant to Biotron’s programs.

They will also have:

· Demonstrated project coordination and administrative expertise

· Strong planning and organisational skills

· An ability to exercise sound judgement and work both independently and collaboratively

· Well developed analytical and problem-solving skills

· An ability to manage multiple priorities

· Strong interpersonal and highly developed written and verbal communication skills

· Advanced computer literacy

· Familiarity with R&D Tax Incentive program would be an advantage
