About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer (m/w/d) to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing our cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless deployment and operation of applications across multiple platforms. Your expertise will be pivotal in automating processes, maintaining infrastructure as code, and implementing best practices in continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize our cloud environments, improve system reliability, and support the development of scalable, secure, and efficient solutions. The ideal candidate is proactive, eager to learn, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment where technological innovation is highly valued.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure management. Relevant professional experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud providers such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure is essential. Proficiency in scripting and automation tools like Jenkins, Groovy, Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet is required. Excellent communication skills in both German (C1/C2 level) and English are necessary for effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders. A proactive approach to problem-solving, the ability to work independently, and a keen interest in emerging technologies are highly valued. A degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred, along with certifications in cloud platforms or DevOps methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Operate and continuously improve Kubernetes clusters to ensure high availability and performance.
- Implement GitOps practices using tools like ArgoCD to streamline deployment workflows.
- Manage application deployments with Helm, ensuring consistency and reliability.
- Monitor system health and observability using Prometheus and Grafana to proactively identify issues.
- Automate CI/CD pipelines leveraging Jenkins and Groovy to accelerate development cycles.
- Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform, enabling scalable and repeatable deployments.
- Containerize applications and orchestrate them using Docker, ensuring portability and efficiency.
- Handle configuration management with Ansible or Puppet to maintain system consistency.
- Collaborate with different cloud providers and solutions, including AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, and OpenShift, to support diverse project requirements.
