Responsibilities We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer to help operate, improve, and support the cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tooling behind TeamViewer's SaaS products, especially our solution Frontline. This role is suited to someone who is comfortable contributing across cloud infrastructure and automation, while continuing to develop their technical depth with support from experienced engineers. Support the design, build, and maintenance of highly available, secure, and scalable Azure cloud infrastructure supporting TeamViewer’s global SaaS platform Operate and maintain Kubernetes-based containerized platforms, leveraging GitOps workflows for declarative infrastructure and application management Contribute to the development of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and operational workflow Assist in the implementation of robust monitoring, logging, and observability frameworks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) to ensure platform visibility and high service health Proactively identify and resolve performance, security, and scalability bottlenecks Participate in compensated on-call rotations to respond to incidents Leverage AI-powered tools and automation to improve troubleshooting, documentation, and engineering productivity in a compliant and efficient manner Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Security, and Platform teams to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing SaaS services Requirements A university degree or education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field Hands-on experience with one or more of the main cloud providers, preferably Microsoft Azure Proficiency Proficiency in using Kubernetes and Docker container management Solid background in working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI or GitLab CI/CD Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms such as Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, or similar technologies Understanding of GitOps and source control management tools like Git backed by scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) Solid fundamental knowledge of network, security, and cloud infrastructure Good knowledge of the HTTP protocol and how HTTP-based microservices work Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset supported by excellent collaboration and communication skills Fluency in English is mandatory, further languages are a plus What we offer Onsite Onboarding in our HQ office for an optimal start Great compensation and benefits packages including company achievement bonus or sales bonus and regular salary reviews Public transport friendly offices Special terms for local gyms Access to Corporate Benefits platform with many discounts Regular Team events and company-wide celebrations Open door policy , no dress code rules, frequent all Hands and Leadership Lunches Hybrid and Flexible work time Work From Abroad Program allowing up to 40 days of work outside your contracting country We celebrate diversity as one of core values, join and drive one of the c-a-r-e initiatives together with us!
