DevOps Engineer_ Remote

We are looking for a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to join our fully remote engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building and maintaining cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes environments, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and modern DevOps practices. You will work closely with software engineers, architects, and security teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure cloud-native solutions.

This position is ideal for engineers who enjoy automation, continuous improvement, cloud infrastructure, and solving complex production challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Manage and administer Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement GitOps deployment strategies using ArgoCD or similar tools.
• Monitor infrastructure health using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack or equivalent monitoring solutions.
• Ensure infrastructure security, availability, backup, disaster recovery, and compliance.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and optimize system performance.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve deployment processes and release automation.
• Support cloud migrations and cloud infrastructure optimization.
• Implement best practices for networking, security, scalability, and automation.
• Document infrastructure architecture, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.

Requirements

Must Have

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or Site Reliability Engineer.
• Strong Linux system administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production.
• Excellent knowledge of Docker and containerization.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform.
• Experience with Git, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle Cloud, or DigitalOcean).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Experience implementing infrastructure security best practices.
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar).
• Experience working within Agile teams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
