GENERAL SUMMARY

We are seeking a Digital Asset Manager/Librarian to work with our Asset Management and Operations team and own workstreams in the DAM ecosystem. While experience with Tenovos is a plus, this role is open to candidates with strong expertise across enterprise DAM platforms.

This is not a traditional librarian role. You will be responsible for aiding in defining, building, implementing, and maintaining what best-in-class DAM looks like within a complex, global production environment, which includes operating within and constantly assessing a scalable, efficient, and future-ready asset management model.

This role requires a proactive go-getter, who can own disparate workstreams in the system. You will also have incredible attention to detail, as the role requires a level of quality control across assets, metadata, and taxonomy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute and manage day-to-day DAM workflows, ensuring assets move seamlessly through ingestion, review, approval, distribution, and archival processes.
  • Monitor workflow performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and asset usability.
  • Ingest, catalog, tag, and audit regional assets in the DAM workflow.
  • Support the implementation, documentation, and continuous optimization of DAM processes and operating procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with established asset governance standards, metadata requirements, and retention policies.
  • Partner with stakeholders to support asset requests, issue resolution, and workflow adherence.
  • Manage the ingestion, organization, tagging, and maintenance of digital assets within the DAM platform, and at the regional level.
  • Act as the local extension of global DAM governance.
  • Perform minor, ad hoc video editing assistance – eg. slate removal, transcoding, etc. via Adobe Premiere Pro or other editing platform.
  • Ensure assets are accurately catalogued and enriched with complete metadata to maximize discoverability and reuse.
  • Maintain asset library hygiene through ongoing audits and lifecycle management activities.
  • Apply and maintain metadata standards, controlled vocabularies, taxonomies, and keywording structures.
  • Ensure metadata accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all asset types.
  • Monitor search performance and user behavior to improve asset findability and user experience.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve and evolve metadata structures and taxonomy models as business needs change.
  • Serve as SME for video asset management and video-specific metadata requirements.
  • Manage video asset ingestion, QC validation, version control, translation/versioning coordination (where applicable), and distribution readiness.
  • Integrate AI-driven tools into creative and production processes to boost efficiency, elevate content quality, and stay ahead of emerging trends in technology and storytelling

LOCATION & COMMITMENTS

  • Full-time role, currently hybrid status (Remote will be considered)
  • In-person/in-office minimum of 3 days per week
  • Travel may be required to deliver on client and production needs

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5+ years experience as a digital asset manager for an ad agency or related creative organization in a content operations role
  • Strong understanding of DAM workflows, metadata management, taxonomy development and enforcement, and content governance.
  • Experience managing video assets, including video metadata standards, versioning, QC processes, and content lifecycle management.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced creative or marketing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Able to apply critical and strategic thinking
  • Stress-tolerant, quick-thinking and accurate
  • Able to quickly understand new technology concepts
  • Content production experience
  • Client-facing experience
  • Experience with various DAM platforms and PM tools including Tenovos, LucidLink, Sharepoint, and Smartsheet

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
